Work Environment:
kstate CREDIT UNION is a relaxed yet fast-paced environment that is truly focused on serving our members. Family atmosphere that works as a team with one common purpose. Branch hours of operations range from 7:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m., Monday – Friday and 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on Saturdays. This position is not a remote position.

Teller Supervisor
We are looking for a Teller Supervisor to join our ever-growing team! If you are someone that would describe themselves as a go-getter, team player, and leader, then this role is for you. The Teller Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of personnel alongside the Branch Manager to ensure that kstate CREDIT UNION reaches organizational, financial, and operational goals. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the credit union and assist members with transactions, loans, and all banking needs. You will enforce policies and procedures and continue to cultivate a collaborative environment for our staff, and ensure our members receive excellent service. A day in the life of a Teller Supervisor:
- Leverage leadership and communication skills to partner with team members to make every entrance into the branch a warm and welcome one
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to branch personnel
- Continually coach the team to improve branch productivity and meet established goals
- Monitor branch office operations to ensure security procedures are followed and appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions
- Review documents prepared by the team, such as safe deposit vault entry and exit records to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- ATM, TCR, and vault balancing and management
- Explain services to potential consumers and commercial account members to generate additional business and promote positive public relations
- Uncover member needs and match the right product; resolve account-related concerns
- Evaluate all branch activities to ensure established Credit Union policies, procedures, and objectives are followed; recommend changes to the manager
- Manage branch office in the absence of the manager, function as MSS and MSR
- Assist with all daily operations of the branch including opening, closing, and all other branch operations
- Maintain confidentiality in all kstate CREDIT UNION and member matters
- Present a positive image of the kstate CREDIT UNION through professional appearance and courteous attitude

- Teamwork and the ability to communicate and listen

- Ability to focus while managing multiple tasks
- Significant levels of trust and diplomacy, in addition to normal courtesy and tact, required

- Willingness to serve members and teammates while continuing to learn
Teller Supervisor qualifications
- Two years experience in operations, sales, and service with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Prior Credit Union or Banking experience preferred; Equivalent knowledge attained through on-the-job experience will be considered
